Balladeering & Theme Entertainment Offerings
(note - the distinction bewteen balladeering and theme
parties is, balladeering is mostly a background, atmospheric entertainment:
theme parties are a more center stage, foreground show emphasizing group
involvement.) |
|
|
|
Southern
Gentleman - Our biggest seller, the strolling Southern Gentleman
seems to fulfill the Northern guest's expectation that Southern hospitality
is incomplete without someone in frock coat and top hat strummin' on
the old banjo! Available as a solo, duo, trio, or quartet, singing and
playing Southern standards like Oh! Susannah, Old Folks at
Home, and (need we say?) Dixie, we think you'll agree that
it's the perfect accompaniment to Low Country barbecue or plantation
party! |
|
|
|
Buccaneers of the Low Country - How do you spell
pirates? I offer singing pirates as both a balladeering and a theme
party option, depending on how "into" the Pirate theme the
client wishes to get! Some groups prefer a light dose, with a solo,
duo or trio strolling and singing Pirate band performing for cocktails
or dinner. Other clients prefer a more complete immersion into piracy,
adn for them we can stage a complete theme dinner, featuring music,
dancing, group involvement, and a show! |
|

|
Wild
West - on Hilton Head??!! Available as a balladeering or
theme party with solo, duo, trio or quartet, the Wild West show sings
and plays the great Cowboy songs like Git Along, L'il Dogies,
Red River Valley, and Home on the Range. These are songs
that put the Western into Country & Western! For the theme party,
we can involve the group as much as desired with Country Line Dancing
and other options. |
|
|
|
The Baron's Feast - a structured theme dinner,
a little bit of Medieval feast on Ye Olde Hilton Heade! Costumed performers
sing and play music of the Medieval/Renaissance period, and guests are
encouraged to participate in the fun! The evening is hosted by the Baron
and his Lady, and all are entertained by the antics of the Fool.
Different! |

|
|
Uncle Sam's Musical Revue - a surefire, oft-tested
hit with kids and family! The show is emceed by the Singing Uncle Sam,
beloved symbol of our Nation, and the guests are encouraged to sing
& dance along! Sam can be joined by his two adorable costumed children
(kids love watching other kids perform) and/or other adult performers.
Songs include old American trads like I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy,
Daisy Bell and Shine On, Harvest Moon. Perfect for summer
picnics and barbecues, we call it a star-spangled smash! |

|
Irish Pub Night - not really balladeering or a
theme party, but entertainment such as you'd experience at O'Reilly's
or any fine Irish pub. Jamie sings a wide variety of Irish music, from
Tin Pan Alley (Who Threw the Overalls?, McNamara's Band,
Irish Eyes, etc.) to traditional & contemporary Irish fold
(Whiskey in the Jar, Molly Malone, Danny Boy, etc.)

on the hammered dulcimer, concertina, and tin whistle. Available solo
or duo. Erin go Bragh! |
