For the last 22 years RENE RUSSELL has been entertaining audiences from the East Coast to the West Coast. A native of Columbia, SC, she has lived in Atlanta, Austin, and San Diego. An accomplished 12-string guitarist with a unique finger picking style that guarantees your attention. Her voice has been described as "powerful, rich and clear with a sexy growl."
 
Now residing in Columbia, she has recorded 2 CD's since 1990. Both were sold out and repressed several times totaling about 8000 copies all together. She is currently working on material for her 3rd CD.
